Arrival & welcome
You'll be welcomed by our team and shown to a private room. There's no rush — we'll talk you through the day, answer any questions, and help you settle in before anything begins.

Meeting your team
You'll meet your consultant surgeon and anaesthetist, who'll go through the procedure with you, confirm the plan, and make sure you're comfortable and ready before you go through to theatre.

Your procedure
You'll be taken through to theatre for your septoplasty. Our team will look after you throughout, and you'll be in experienced hands from start to finish.

Recovery on the ward
Afterwards you'll recover in our comfortable ward, where our nursing team keeps an eye on you, manages any discomfort, and makes sure you're recovering well.

Home the same day
Septoplasty is a day-case procedure, so once you've recovered and the team is happy you're ready, you can go home the same day. We'll give you clear aftercare advice and arrange any follow-up before you leave.
